Lakeside Primary School is a large school located in the historic spa town of Cheltenham. We have a happy ethos in spacious, secure and pleasant surroundings. Our aim is to inspire our children so they develop a love of learning through shared values, a caring environment, a 'can-do' culture, high standards and expectations.

The school was originally a junior school founded in 1960 but has grown through very popular demand over the years in to the large two-form entry school that it is today. From this time to the present day Lakeside Primary has enjoyed a reputation as a warm and friendly school, serving the local community and further afield.

Lakeside today is proud of its academic, sporting and creative achievements and the way in which it enriches the lives of children, giving them a sound foundation on which to build their future.
